HSY-5198 Drill Pipe Thread Compound Cone Penetrometer (Standard with Full Cone)

HSY-5198 Drill Pipe Thread Compound Penetrometer (Standard Full Cone Included) is designed and manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements and relevant provisions of the standard SY/T5198-2020 "Drill Pipe Thread Compound" and GB/T269 "Standard Test Method for Penetration of Lubricating Grease and Petroleum Grease". It is mainly suitable for testing the penetration of drill pipe thread compound used for connecting threads of drilling tools in oil and gas fields, mining, and geological drilling. The worked penetration is an indicator of the hardness of the thread compound, which is related to the ease of application. According to the standard requirements, the worked penetration of the drill pipe thread compound should be between 290-350 (0.1mm) at 25 degrees and under a load of 150g (standard full cone). This instrument can also be used for testing materials such as solid fine particles, powders, colloids, frozen substances, as well as food raw materials like cheese, gum, tallow, margarine, cream, fermented products, etc., by adding accessories. It can be widely applied in the food industry, transportation and highway engineering, and other industrial sectors.
